Hey everyone, and welcome to Caitlin’s Corner! I’m Caitlin, and this month is going to be a barrel of laughs! I have collected my favorite bird jokes, puns, riddles, and brainteasers, and thought I would share them with all of you. I hope you enjoy them and use them on your friends and family!
Jokes:
Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?
A: To get to the other side!
Q: Why do hummingbirds hum?
A: Because they don’t know the words to the song!
Q: What do you call a rude bird?
A: A mockingbird!
Q: What bird can carry the most weight?
A: A crane!
Q: What does a duck eat with soup?
A: Quackers!
Q: Why did a little bird get in trouble at flying school?
A: He was caught tweeting on a test. (Don’t cheat on tests, kids.)
Q: Why do seagulls fly over the sea?
A: If they flew over the bay, they would become bagels!
Q: What is a parrot’s favorite game to play?
A: Hide and Speak!
Q: What’s the difference between a bird and a fly?
A: A bird can fly, but a fly can’t bird!
Here is my favorite one:

A: Dove!

Riddles and Brainteasers:
Q: I’m the part of a bird that’s not found in the sky. I can swim in the ocean, but still remain dry. What am I?
A: A shadow!
Q: Jessica, Mabel, and Justin went bird watching. Each of them saw one bird that none of the others did. Each pair saw one bird that the third did not, and all three saw one bird. Of the birds Jessica saw, two were yellow. Of the birds Mabel saw, three were yellow. Of the birds Justin saw, four were yellow. How many yellow birds were seen in all? How many non-yellow birds were seen in all?
A: 5 yellow birds were seen, and 2 non-yellow birds (7 birds total)
